PNC 2012 Australian Zoo's - Sumatran Tiger

Postal numismatic covers consisting of a coloured Australian Zoo Series Sumatran Tiger Al-Br $1 coin and an Australian 60c postage stamp were jointly issued by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra.

The coin is mounted on a colourful see-both-sides card and housed in a souvenir envelope. The accompanying Australia Post stamp is cancelled with a specially prepared Sumatran Tiger 'First Day of Issue' postmark dated 28 September 2012 at Parkville Victoria 3052.
